Connecting Rod
1. Connecting rod is one of the precise parts of engine. To guarantee its operative balance, the weight difference of a set of connecting rods in one automobile should be less than 6 gram. The groups of the products by standard are as follows:
2. Connecting rod screw during the course of its use, it has the ability of self locking under an applied force. If it is used repeatedly, its ability of self locking will disappear. So it can not be used repeatedly according to technical requirements of Japan.
3. Connecting rod is the important parts of engine, so the requirements of material and precision are very high. When connecting rod is twisted by improper use, which is difficult to measure.
※ Notice: When engine is poured into by water, absent from oil, absent from water or damaged, the connecting rod will be damaged. Despite its slight distortion, can cause other parts damaged, so we recommend replacing all connecting rods with new ones.
Crankshaft
Notice before installing:
1. Dewax and clean completely, especially hole canal, cavum etc clean with high pressurized air, and check if the oil channels are free.
2.Check the dimension of crankshaft as follows (reference) according to engine model 4JB1, 4JA1:
Note: The dimension above is the dimension of Engine with affixed product
Because of the difference of temperature, measuring instrument precision, measuring method and level, there is at least the measuring error of 0.005mm.
According to JB/T6727-93 <Technical condition of gas engine crankshaft>, dimensional tolerance of nitriding crankshaft can magnify 0.01mm.
3.When installing, while meeting the precondition of ensuring every main bearing hole of body at the same axle degree, we should notice the fit clearance between crankshaft tile and crankshaft neck. The clearance between main crankshaft neck and main crankshaft tile (big tile) is 0.035mm to 0.080mm, and the limit of repair abrasion is 0.11mm. The clearance between connecting rod neck and crankshaft tile (small tile), and the limit of repair abrasion is 0.109mm.
